Biography
America's finest city, San Diego, California, is the home of one of this nations'finest gospel choirs, Eddie Baltrip & Fulfillment. A hidden treasure. With an amazing diversity of musical styles, the choir is anointed, wonderfully disciplined, emotionally charged and musically excellent. Together for 20 years, this group of young people from all walks of life, have remained faithful to their original mission: to sing as a ray of hope reflecting the enrichment and "fulfillment" of their lives through Christ.
At the young age of 12, a time when the city didn't get much exposure to the cutting edge and ever changing voice of gospel music, Eddie Baltrip began what would become a major contribution to churches throughout San Diego county. Per Eddie's mother, Shelia Baltrip-Clark, he would always get some group of kids together in the neighborhood and by the evening she had an entire flock of kids to feed and sometimes clothe. His giving heart has continued through the years. Past and present members can all speak of how he has been a blessing in their lives.
Charity begins at home. Eddie Baltrip has truly done his homework. With this, it is due time the World knows of his great heart and the ministry of a group of young ambassadors for Christ like non-other.
The choir has worked with some of the greatest artist, writers and producers; Daryl Coley, James Cleveland, Richard Smallwood, Dr. Bobby Jones, Karen Clark-Sheard, Shirley Caesar, Barry Manilow, Eartha Kitt and the San Diego Symphony.
Eddie now adds to his accomplishments, Minister of Music for the North Park Apostolic Church, where he has done and outstanding and positive contribution to the transformation in the music departing, including but not limited to a 1998 recording project. Stay tuned for more on that front.
Eddie’s goals for Fulfillment are to make an even greater impact through touring the United States and foreign countries, becoming a financially stable ministry that can prove to be a blessing to others. The vision of the ministry is to use the youth of past and present to change today’s future….
